RFP: MCCDA Website Redesign Proposal Due By: March 15th, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. via email to aford@selectmoultrie.com
Project Overview:
The Moultrie Colquitt County Development Authority (Authority) is seeking proposals to redesign its website. The Authority was created in 1960 through an amendment to the Georgia Constitution. The Authority, which is housed with the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce at 116 1st Avenue SE, is governed by locally appointed board members. Local Development Authorities play a significant role in the community, creating a more prosperous community through economic development efforts, which requires knowing the community well, nurturing deep relationships with many stakeholders, having well-thought-out industry recruitment strategies, and demonstrating the ability to execute and deliver economic opportunities. The Authority is looking for a knowledgeable partner to collaborate with to elevate its website, to show case data center resources, and why selecting Moultrie is a desirable choice for industries and businesses.
Project Goals:
● To improve website functionality on the backend by updating WordPress template. ● To ensure easy access for website visitors to data tools and resources such as GIS Planning. ● To improve design and aesthetics of the website to best represent the brand.
Scope of Work:
The chosen organization will work with the marketing coordinator to ensure all project goals are met. The existing website is built on WordPress, though outdated. The Authority desires to redesign the website on a new WordPress template that improves the website content, with a specific focus on functional navigation and design.
Evaluation Metrics and Criteria:
● Economic Development industry knowledge. ● Experience with similar website designs. ● Cost for services.
The Authority reserves the right to refuse all proposals submitted.
Submission Requirements:
● Submissions must include total project cost. ● Submission must include portfolio examples. ● Submission must define number of allowable edits. ● Proposal submission must be valid for 90 days.
